ABOUT DRUM LESSONS
1on1 Drum Lessons for All Ages All Levels
I strongly believe that anyone, regardless of age or skill level can learn to play the drums and get a lot of value from the experience.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and aspirations, but with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, vocabulary and repertoire.
STUDIO
My studio is equipped with two, 4-piece “Sonor Pocket Kit” drumsets, with Aquarian drum heads and Zildjian cymbals. As well as a playback system, with two sets of headphones for playing songs and metronome based exercises.
The benefits of the dual kit + playback system, are that they allow for real-time feedback and effective use of lesson time. In other words, less time is spent switching places or explaining and more time is spent playing and practicing.

I typically offer 30–60 minute lessons, though longer sessions are available upon request.
As a general guide:
Ages 5–7: 30 minutes
Ages 8–10: 45 minutes
Ages 11 and up: 60 minutes
That said, every student is unique! I’m happy to adjust lesson length to fit individual goals, attention span, and experience level.
I also have a very flexible schedule regarding rescheduling lessons, I am very sure we can find time that works for you if you cannot make it one week or another, so do not be worried to commit to the lessons, I am here to help you to get the most out of your lessons!
